Cities & Cobblestones is an independent editorial project for travellers who want to understand Europe’s historic cities and the remarkable places around them. Our first collection, Beyond Paris, publishes destination guides, planning articles and practical travel information for towns and villages within reach of the French capital.

Cities & Cobblestones is published by G.L. Cooper, an independent publisher based in Ontario, Canada.

How we verify information

We aim to keep every destination page accurate and useful. We cross-check travel times and transport modes against public timetables and routing sources, confirm coordinates against mapping data, and revisit pages periodically. Where we haven't yet been able to verify a detail, we say so rather than guess. Verification badges on a destination page reflect the latest check we have done — they are not a guarantee that nothing has changed since.

How this site is funded

Cities & Cobblestones is supported by a combination of:
