What we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, and information collected automatically, such as pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, via analytics tools (see our cookie policy).

How we use it

  • To send the newsletter you have subscribed to, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
  • To respond to messages sent through our contact form.
  • To understand how the site is used, so we can improve content and performance.
  • To process purchases of digital guides through our shop, via Stripe.

Email newsletter

Visitors who submit the form on the packing list page have their email address collected and stored by Kit, our email service provider. It is used only to send the requested download and occasional travel updates; it is never sold or shared, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Third parties

We use third-party services including Supabase (data storage) and Stripe (payments). We also use Google AdSense to serve advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email or via our unsubscribe page.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
