Berat Castle and Old Town walking tour
A half-day introduction covering Mangalem, the castle and usually the Onufri Museum. Confirm whether museum admission and the uphill transfer are included.
Osumi Canyon rafting or river-hiking day
A seasonal spring-to-autumn outing from Berat or Tirana, often combining the gorge with Bogovë Waterfall, transport, a guide and lunch. Duration varies from a long half-day to a full day; confirm water conditions and inclusions.
Tirana–Berat–Gjirokastër combined day
A 10-hour-plus day linking two UNESCO old towns from Tirana. It works for travellers with very little time, but the driving makes it a demanding overview rather than a relaxed visit.
Osum River private full-day tour
A slower nature day with less emphasis on rafting, normally combining viewpoints, short walks and river stops. Exact routing depends on season and conditions.
Private driver between Berat and Gjirokastër
The most practically useful experience on this page. Public transport between the towns is weak, so a point-to-point driver can save a transfer through Tirana or Fier. Confirm the route, total price and luggage allowance before accepting.
